Our marketing lead chose a casual sports theme, and we collaborated to come up with a logo reminiscent of the old Olympics logos. We planned to incorporate the cherry blossom flower, because it is a recognizable trademark of Washington D.C. It appears in the shape of a star to reinforce the idea of excellence. This event took place during "Buff and Bloom" week, a week jam-packed with events during peak cherry blossom season. While this was one of our larger events, I also designed promotional material for a roller skating party and a staff summer party.
