When cellphone repair is made accessible, the amount of e-waste contaminating landfills will be reduced. The following prototype shows two courses of action: connecting with a nearby technician or following a repair tutorial for a DIY fix. Visually, the app features a soothing experience to eliminate the user’s potential panic. The purpose is to provide clarity and simplify solutions for cell phone users with damaged devices. The relaxing atmosphere is emphasized with calming shades of green, which also serve to echo the idea of sustainability and “going green.”
